I've been sticking to my skincare routine for five years, and recently I discovered that using essence honey correctly can double the results. After cleansing and toning, it's the first step, even before face cream and lotion. It helps open up the skin's channels, making subsequent products absorb better.
Take three or four drops in your palm, rub them together to warm them, and then gently press them onto your face. I usually do it in three steps: first, push upwards to lift the contours; then, gently pull outwards from the center to reduce fine lines; finally, use your fingertips to massage between your eyebrows three times, and lift upwards from your neck. After doing this, my skin feels incredibly firm.
Remember to shake the bottle well before use. After applying, you can massage in small circles to speed up absorption. I have sensitive skin, so the technique must be very gentle; never pull or tug. In the particularly dry winter, I use it in conjunction with a black cream. The essence honey first hydrates, and after absorption, I apply a thin layer of black cream to lock in moisture. This provides good hydration and prevents makeup from caking later.
My complete skincare routine: First, apply a serum base, then a toner, followed by a double-serum serum, and finally, apply a different thickness of dark cream depending on whether it's morning or evening. Remember to apply sunscreen during the day. The serum is like a foundation; a good base allows subsequent skincare products to work at their best.
This is especially suitable for dry and combination skin, with the most noticeable effects during seasonal changes when skin is flaky and red. Oily skin can also use it in winter when it's dehydrated, as it helps regulate oil and moisture balance. Test it on the inside of your arm for the first time, and wait 24 hours until it's okay before applying it to your face. Do not use on skin with wounds or during an allergic reaction.
Store away from light. Once opened, use it within six months to a year. If you notice any separation or change in texture, discontinue use. I've used this serum for three months, and my skin condition has become much more stable, and makeup applies much better than before. Feel free to share any special usage tips you may have.
