A moisturizing cream is a type of face cream, a skincare product used on the face, and its application method is the same as that of a regular face cream. Using a moisturizing cream can hydrate the skin, provide nutrients for skin metabolism, and provide excellent moisturizing effects, keeping the skin hydrated for a long time. Moisturizing cream is applied to the face after cleansing in the morning and evening, following the order of toner → serum → eye cream → lotion/moisturizing cream. Moisturizing creams are suitable for the drier and colder autumn and winter seasons, or for dry or normal skin. Moisturizing creams often contain occlusive oils and high-melting-point waxes to enhance their occlusive properties and achieve moisturizing effects. However, in the hot summer, skin is prone to sweating and increased oil secretion, making moisturizing creams feel very heavy. Continued use can easily clog pores, leading to itching, closed comedones, and breakouts. Therefore, moisturizing cream should not be used every day. In summer, a lighter, refreshing lotion is generally sufficient.
